okay well im new here and i just have a few, well maybe more then a few questions about headlights. :P

Well i want to change my cars headlights and im not sure what kind of headlights i have to look for or stuff like that so i just wanted to know

What is the difference between LEDs, HIDs, CCFLs, Halogens, and any other types of lights and what are H1,H4 lightbulbs?

Can i just simply install any of these onto my car or are their other things i need to be able to install certain types of headlights like HIDs?

Also i saw some black headlights with H1 low beams and H4 high beams....are those any good?

I also want to know how to change interior orange lights on the speedometer, clock, etc.. to white?

Im sure i have a few more questions but just cant think of them at the moment so if there is anything else you can tell me please do so and thanks :P
