I recently purchased aftermarket headlights from eBay similar to these:

(I know not the best idea, but the car has 150k on it and my budget is limited at the moment).

I installed these lights but the low beam fog (halogen) lamps just below the HID lamps do not work, however, they do turn on when I flick the high beams on. All of the fuses seem fine and I replaced the Fog Lamp Relay and they still wont turn on.
Any ideas of what it can be? Maybe those headlights were not wired correctly or they weren't made to turn on? Im out of ideas so any insight would be appreciated. Btw I have an 05 coupe and don't usually buy things like this on eBay. O well, you live and learn. Thanks in advance guys!!

p.s. I also am not the biggest fan of all those LEDs so will just cutting and capping some of those ugly LEDs negatively effect the function of the headlight? If so, is there a different way to do so?

 

I feel the same way you do about the ebay headlights with all them LEDs. I know I'm going to kick myself in the butt for getting them, but I just cant afford new 06 lights! My headlights are so foggy. I was wondering if I could just cut the wires to the LEDs too. Would any issue pop up from doing this?

 

Just take then lens from your eGay lights and put em on your OEM housing.
