Sorry if this is off topic but hopefully this is in the right place, and I know it gets the most traffic. (I tried to PM this member but his inbox was full.)

I came across an old thread that said LEDmarkers did some amazing work for people with creating some Dual Ring Taillights out of stock OEM 06 tails. This was from way back in 2011 and as far as I can tell, the discussion about Dual Rings has been practically dead for a while so hopefully I'm not too late.

If LEDmarkers sees this, are you still making these? (Feel free to PM) I'm not in a huge rush to get them done since I still have some bills to pay but I figured I'd ask.

And to any members with experience in the subject, is it a worthy mod? Any pros or cons that you want to discuss?

I think u can buy them from clearcorners.com and send your old lights in for a core discount but its still like a G bar.... Try and find a old set of first gen lights and play with those if your the diy kind of guy.... Keep us posted

Shouldn't be that hard to do. I've only messed with the 3rd brake light so far but LEDs are easy enough to do. Looks a lot more labor intensive, but I'm sure I could do it.

i have a set.. worksmanship and quality is top notch.

 

I don't have the most dexterity so I doubt any diy that I attempt is gonna be worth the time, money and effort. I was just amazed at the quality and cost that LEDmarkers was able to do the Dual Rings for compared to Clearcorners where it's $2600 a set...definitely not worth that much to me. It's almost as bad as the '06 projectors being over $1000 now.
