Actually, in TX, in there is not any law about color of marker/clearance bulbs....turn signals in the front of the car must be either amber or clear to pass state inspection, and signals in the rear must be either amber or red to pass...

Yes, there are some states that are an exception to the rule.

Does anyone know anything about the colored "caps" available on the MTecs? Like these:

It doesn't look like those could even fit the G, could they?

Some ebay sellers have the MTECs for $20 - could that be right?

I'm sorry to bring this back up, but I've been searching and have one quick question. If I swap out the fog/high beam bulb with an H4 that is hopefully similar in color to my headlights, will I lose my high beam functionality?

I had thought about putting the Yellow ION bulbs for the FOG/high beams. Do you know if this will stop the use of the high beams? I had saw earlier that someone put a film top make the light yellow.

Just wanted to see if anyone knew.

PIAA makes an H4 bulb called Yellow Ion Crystal. These retain the high beam function.

Another option for yellow fog H4s is Nokya "hyper yellow." They can be had for $30.
