Unhappy replacing 06 g35 coupe headlights. help appreciated

Hi everyone. This is my first post and I hope I am following all rules and regulations.

Long story short: I rear-ended someone and tore the front of my car up pretty bad. While I was abroad for 6 months, my parents decided to take my car in to a super shady shop and paid the guy cash upfront (no insurance at the time). What we ended up getting for our money was a car that is barely drivable. There are so many things wrong but since I am in the lighting forum I will stick to that. My driver's side headlight was replaced with a completely different headlight so I am looking to restore that to the original 2006 oem headlights, which I believe are the bixenon projectors (please correct me if I am wrong). My passenger-side headlight is still the original headlight but it is currently not working. There is a crack on the inside of the headlight so that may be the problem or maybe the wiring is off.

I guess my question is: how do I go about restoring my headlights back to original? I did take my car into a shop a couple days ago and they made some calls and told me each headlight would cost $1,082 because they were xenon..

Any help would be greatly appreciated. As you can probably tell, I don't know much about cars but I am taking this opportunity to learn.

Or you can buy the reflectors for now and save up for the projectors. OR jsut do a retrofit on an old set of lights.
