interior and exterior make over
It was actually pretty easy you need a steady hand for the soldering part as most of the lights are pretty close to other components and id say the hardest part was getting the red off without taking of the black as well thats a PITA.
The switches all have to be split apart the door switches have tabs u pry up slightly and pull the cover off then theres 3 smds on the drivers side 2 on the passengers side the heater switches each have 2 smds 1 5050 and 1 805 I think not sure on that size I used a 1206 still works though. The vdc is a bulb I forget what size though but get a led bulb and not an smd I had to bend mine 90° to get the lighting right. The ac I have a metra kit looking to get a jdm one but the metra kit just take off the finisher unscrew that top compartment then the ac buttons and there 4 screws holding the cover on. The metra kit has all 805 I think because the 1206s didnt quite fit but I made it work lol. Its relatively easy to do just make sure you dont burn the traces, cross them or cold solder anything and your good lol. Also take note on which way the bulbs came out or youll be soldering and unsoldering alot and the lights, that illuminate the buttons when the running light are on, on the metra kit are daisy chained like Xmas lights so if one is blown what ever follows in the chain wont work I found that out the hard way. Hope all goes well let me know if you need pics or a better explanation .
