Trading my 05' headlights + $300 for 06' Projectors and 5000k bulbs a good deal?

Just wondering if it's a good deal? Trading my 2005 headlights and bulbs for a 2006 projector set and 5000k bulbs. I would also be adding $300 on top of the trade? What do you guys thinks? Also, will I be able to just install them without anything else required? Thanks

Thanks for your reply. The passenger side headlight top bracket is broken but the guy has rigged another little bracket on it.

Also, I would have to buy the ballast separately? Where would I find the ballast at?

That's not a bad deal if they're in good condition and the lenses are not yellowed or scratched/damaged. The '06 projectors are selling close to a $1K a set FYI. Google Infiniti headlight ballasts or it won't be cheap but call Nissan for their price...Gary

Have to see them in person but from the small pics seem fairly good condition. Just that broken top tab on the passenger side headlight. I was texting the guy and he said it should be plug and play. I wonder why he would say that.

I just thought about it, since we're trading, wouldn't we just trade ballast as well? Sorry, not too familiar with what's required with the headlight swap

The ballasts are on eBay all day for $60. I just bought some from a guy who had 10 for $60 a piece.

BTW, yes that's a great deal. I got a very similar deal, and let me tell you, the difference is night and day in functionality and looks.

Thanks for the help everyone. Few more questions. Is it easy to remove and reinstall the headlights? And still worth the trade even with that top broken tab on the passenger side headlight?

I'm waiting for pics of the makeshift tab he made for it.

yeah shouldnt be a problem. removing the lights requires either partially or completely taking off the front end. thats the hardest part. once thats done, remove the lights

Better get them tonigt before I do jk. I saw that deal on cl, if your patient and can constantly search eBay and this forum with a passion you can pick up them up cheap. I got a brand new passenger side projector for $100 shipped and the drivers side good used for $123.58 shipped. No broken tabs and both came with bulbs and ballasts. Granted this deal is likely to not happen often but they are still out there. Also if I can get like $300 shipped for my reflectors I'll make some money

Damn, that's a steal. And just recently too. I'm really not in a rush but also wondering how lucky I would be to be able to find them that low either. How long did it take you before you came across finding those steals?
