First of all I wanted to apologize ahead of time for starting a new thread but I couldn't find an appropriate one to post this question.

Today I noticed that when I turned off my car (the headlight switch being in the "auto" position) after about 10 seconds the drivers side headlight would blink once....then after another 10-15 seconds it would go out leaving just the parking light/marker light on. after another minute or so the passenger side along with all the rest of the lights will shut off as normal.

My question is WTF?!?!?! If anyone has any ideas PLEASE let me know...thank you

 

Update....the drivers headlamp happens when the car is also running...not only when its off.

 

Apparently I suck at searching the threads .... I found the threads on this and I have my question answered. IT'S THE BALLAST !

Actually you should leave it... Let it be advice to the new members that through a search they can find what they need .

 

If i wanted to just swap out my ballasts in my 04 coupe for new ones, do i still have to remove the front bumper?
