Don't want to spend 300 per headlight,can I swap lenses from a cheap pair from eBay to oem???

 

That's what I plan on doing when the time comes. Blaze some trails bro. I don't see any reason it wouldn't work as long as you seal them well. The prob with the eBay lights is they aren't sealed well, and the electronics suck. The lenses should just be dot approved plastic. I would try to put some sort of clear coat on them for longevity tho.

 

I just painted the inside this weekend,I wet sanded and buffed the a few times and wax them every two weeks,but the plastic has those wear and tear cracks in em being. A 03,I'm gonna swap the lenses in the next couple weeks

 

Wait, you have 03 lights? Honestly, man, you can find really nice 03/4 lights used for about the same amount as eBay lights these days cuz everyone wants the 06 lights.

There were some on here not too long ago in fact for like $400/pair.

 

I hear you on that but ,just really want the lenses since I just sprayed the bezel,swap em and clear coat them,plus I'm about to buy a spc front camber kit,rather waste $350 on that
