not sure but if they're PIAA they're probably pretty good. PIAA makes some damn good lighting stuff. I'm personally going to switch my low beams and hi-beams with the bulbs and bi-xenon kit from HIDexpress. they make great stuff as well and they're cheaper than PIAA

I will save you from getting this ----->

DO NOT get them!!! You are paying extra for nothing.

What is your goal here? Color or brightness?

If you are going for brightness then stick with stock. They are brighter then a 6600k bulb. The 6600k bulb will be bluer then the stocks, but not brighter.

Anything higher than 4100k is not brighter my friend. Bluer yes, but not brighter. If you want the maximum lumen output, stick with your Philips 4100k D2R bulb.

However, if you still insist in getting more color out of your headlamps then get Philips 5000k or Philips Ultinon 6000k D2R. You will lose output, but the color is there if that is your taste. Be aware too that these are more expensive bulbs, but we all are G35 owners so I don't think that is a problem.
Purchase Philips 5000k or 6000k from HID Planet.com, Illusion Lighting.com or E-Bay.

All in all, stick with your Philips 4100k. Eventually your HID bulb will colorshift to these kelvins mentioned above. Everytime you use your HID, it's getting dimmer, losing life and colorshifting.

Which way does it color shift? Blue side??? so it slowly goes from 4100K-->6000K? I'm a noob when it comes to lighting. If someone has a guide or article please post it.

The higher the color temp, the bluer the bulb. Eventually, if you go high enough, the hue will be purple.

is there a way maybe to purchase the new little HID box and make more light output for the higher temperature bulbs?

The actual HID bulb actually goes to a bluish hue and when the bulb get's extremely old you may find a a hint of purple.

However, in a housing it may appear a deep purple color due to the optics of the projector or reflector design.

If you are referring to HID box as in " HID ballast", then yes. Is that good, wlel that's an entirely different story.

Auserwald makes 35/50watt ballasts for any D2S/R HID application. The 50 watt ballast will definitely make your typical HID shine brighter. However, the old staying stays true "more doesn't mean better".
You now have such an intense amount of light in front of you at night that you actually begin to have tunnel vision. Your eyes begins to focus only the light in front of you and not the surroundings and there begins your downfall. Plus, with the higher color temperature HID you have = no good.

Not to mention when turning and passing just think the amount of people you will blind with that amount of light.
