What are those tiny little lights for??

Are those little Christmas tree lights in the front suppose to do something? I assume they are suppose to be aux lights but they seem pretty useless and seem very cheap. Any ideas on something better to replace them with? Be nice to have something like BMW aux light setup.

Yes, those tiny bulbs in the headlamp housing. They barely light at all.

Parking lights / Clearance lights. They're not supposed to be bright. They're just supposed to light up the corners of the car for others to see at night.

They are made that way for 'styling'. They're not suppose to be bright. They look pretty good to me. If you want to make yours 80w's by all means go ahead. Your car will look like a UFO coming at people with the HID and fog on as well.

That's the one. Infiniti calls it a 'clearance light' as ryoken said.

Ah, ok, they just seem very small and insignificant compared to all the other cars I have had and seen. Thanks all.

Oops... that light isn't designed for styling, you're right...its kinda just there. The ones on the coupe are more for design and to look cool. Oops... my apologies....thought were were discussing the coupe.... [img]/w3timages/icons/laugh.gif[/img]

Not a problem. I should have been more clear. They are "brighter" at night, but then again, at night the headlights are on so you never see them anyway.
