They say these are slighly larger and explain how to connect the bulbs. Apparently it's not a direct drop in. From the looks of it it looks like you have to connect a resistor to the power wire and I don't know how easy that can be with the sidemarkers. They look nice as hell!
Yeah Livya, what are we talking about for instal here? Is this something you can just DIY or dooes some electrical work have to be done?

I think the BMW HIDs I put in are just a hair bluer, not noticable unless they're side by side. as far as installed. you have to cut teh positive wire and install a resistor box. all hardware and everything needed is included. I took the car into the shop where I work and removed the fender liner: 1. to access the clearance lights 2. it provides greater access to the side marker wiring. for each light, you cut 1 wire, crimp set pairs of male and female terminals. connect it all and install the bulb. once I figured it all out, about 10-15 minutes per light. as to them not being listed on the PIAA site, that's because it's not a US product. it's listed on PIAA Japan - http://www.piaa.co.jp/whatsnew/whats...ew?Info_ID=139 they are sold in packs of two. think I got all the questions. I'll run down to the my garage and remove a side marker light in a bit and take pictures of the resistor and wiring all connected and set up.

My problem with the clearcorners.com LED line (which is absolutely gorgeous) is theft! The Clear Corners on these cars come off so easily that someone could so easily swipe those nice $200-300 doillar LED Corners.

Gladd you liked it. When I saw the Tera I was shocked at how much brighter is is compared to regular LED bulbs. Those Luxeon LEDs sure are something, expensive but worth every penny. When my current LEDs burn out I will switch over to the Tera.

I have a question for you - did you have to install that little voltage regulator on the bulb? I saw it on the diagram but wasn't sure how that works.

Me feeling exactly!!!! Not to mention they are little over priced! Anyway, do a search by member for DUCATIGUY - he did a great DIY on how to to prevent side marker theft. basically you drill 2 holes I think on the tabs sticking out teh back of the side marker and then drop a pin down to secure it. Something like that anyway. In order to remove, you would need to take the liner off reach in and futz with it!

sukairain, yes the little black box has to be installed. it contains a resistor that's supposed to protect the LED and maintain the correct voltage supply. it's very easy to install though. cut a wire, crimp on a male and female fitting on each end, then connect. 10 minutes tops for each light

below are a couple picture of my left front side marker light with the wiring exposed to show how I connected everything. since I started this thread I have received dozens of requests to explain how to connect the lights and to explain method #1 vs. method #2. as best I can decipher, the method I used is more permanent. the method using the red scotch lock clips is temporary and more easily reversed.
if the two pictures below still leave some questions, check for the DIY in the forum. I am working to complete it now and it should be uploaded tonight.
