PIAA Tera LED lights

sukairain mentioned previously the PIAA Tera LED bulbs. I recently got a ticket for improper lighting after having the blue PIAA LED bulbs for a year. so in preparation of getting the ticket dismissed, I ordered two sets of the PIAA Tera LED bulbs for the side markers and the clearance lights. I installed them after work in about 1-2 hours. they're extremely bright. parked in my garage and turned out the lights to show the brightness of the bulbs. they're expensive but i think they're worth it.

light compensation from the camera made the picture a bit brighter than it should have been

this one , I didn't turn off the flash

no lights overhead. just the Tera bulbs. no compensation

no light compensation and with low beams on

Yea a vendor would be nice! I've got PIAA Extreme White Wedges and the color is way off compared to the HID's. These LEDs seem to be a good match, wouldn't mind giving them a try.

Are those the stock low beams? Those LEDs look like a great match!

they're normal xenon low beams except from a BMW, benefit of working for BMW. they're PIAA Tera LED bulbs. got them from Viva Technology on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW they're expensive but I thought the price is worth it. there isn't any hint of blue light in the lights so they meet TX state requirements.

This particular bulb is not listed on the PIAA US site. Do you know if this comes in amber as well? It would be perfect for use in clear JDM side markers!

From what I was able to dig up, they come 2 to a pack. Check out this link.

They say these are slighly larger and explain how to connect the bulbs. Apparently it's not a direct drop in. From the looks of it it looks like you have to connect a resistor to the power wire and I don't know how easy that can be with the sidemarkers. They look nice as hell!

escobar, it says right in the description that you get two bulbs...

$55 is pretty steep... On the other hand, they should last far longer than your car will!

Ah good find diesel! Man I just love LED lighting. I am tempted to goto radioshack and mess around with some LEDs. I want to fabricate something similar to the LED clear corners from Clearcorners.com.

I would also love LED front and rear turn signals ( I don't believe any production car has front LED turn signals except for the Kia Amanti.)

I think that AfroPuff - a fellow NJ G owner has done some of his own LED mods... I don't know if he's selling them, however...
