Replaced Fogs with Hyper White what do you think?

Just replaced the yellow fogs with hyper white bulbs by sylvania. They arent like the PIAA's that are blue or anything, these are just pure white. They dont look as good as the PIAA, but they are a bit cheaper and they actually make the road much brighter.

SilverStars are nice, but I'd rather have PIAAs that matched closer to the oem HIDs. Either way... it looks very nice

Can you notice a difference in lighting with the fogs on? The HIDs are pretty bright but can you tell me if there's more light with the fogs on or does the HIDs pretty much take care of all the lighting. I have ion yellow fogs in there right now for foggy days but if there is a significant difference in lighting with the hyper whites+HIDs, I might consider swapping the bulbs and turning those suckers on.

BTW, looks good

Yeah, I might decide to go for that. I was hoping to save the yellow for those days we get foggy but those days are more rare.

i got them from Kragen. you can get it from there usually. autozone may have it too. dont do any pep boys crap they prob wont have it or it will take forever to find it for you. they are sylvania lights hyper white. not sure of the exact model but they can match it for youl. its the H4 if im not mistaken tho. i like them alot, they make it pretty bright.

this site explains it all. gives all the model #'s and all for the car. do you really wanna know what a pain it is? it all depends on if you have a jack, lift, or anytihng. if you dont, and you have to turn the wheel instead, its much more difficult.

Sylvania SilverStars, IMO are a close second to PIAAs. They look almost as good, and have about the same lifespan.

Click on the link below to read about the different types of bulbs, color temp and all that good stuff. Piaa and silverstars are mentioned in this thread.
