I am facing a little dilemma... I can either pay for these Philips ($210), or get the 06's projector headlight ($??). Assuming I buy the 06's projectors and substract whatever I get from selling my 05's headlights... how much money would upgrading to the 06 would it cost?

I mean, if there is a 100$ difference, I think I rather get the 06's projectors (There is no need to unmount the front bumper to replaces the headlights is there?)

 

I talked with a friend of mine who happens to be the parts manager at my local Infiniti dealership. He doesn't have the pricing on the 2006 G35 Projector headlight assemblies yet,(INFINITI 2006 parts Update disk due August 1st) but he said the 2005" headlight is nearly $600.00 a piece HIS COST!!!
So you know the 2006 Headlight is going to be at least that, probably more. So your looking at probably $1,200.00 to $1,400.00 for a pair of 2006 headlights. OUCH!!!
If you even got half that for yours, which isn't likely. You'd still have to come up with $600.00 to $700.00. Just do the HID Projector mod to yours and save about $1,000.00

Yes, unfortunately you do have to remove the front bumper in order to remove the headlight assemblies on a G35...Not that big a deal though.
