Clearance Strip into Turning Signal

I never really knew the purpose of the clearance strip, but is it possible, to put a strip of orange led's straight down the clearance strip and have it work as a turning signal?

Yes, it is possible. A member here has tried it before. If memory serves me right, I beleive it was Afropuff.

It's the same as making your bumper lights blink. You just have to use the clearance light wires instead of the side bumper lights or you can do both. Up to you.

Good Luck!

Yeah i got the idea from the newest gen 5 series bmw. They have the amber LED strip in their headlight, and when it flashes as a turn signal, it looks sick. Now imagine our HUGE *** strip, lighting up LED style in amber. How sick is that?

Good question, no1 knows for sure. Now that i think of it, it would be pretty stupid to put a strip that has no function. If you look at the pic closely, it doesnt look like it can light up...

No actually if youlook closely, It is lit up.

This mod is freakin scarry for us with no wiring backrounds.. When the wheel comes off and the wirestrippers come out-- I get scared.

Don't do it! It looks bad... real bad. I got rid of it within five seconds. The LED strip is a great idea, but DO NOT make them blink!
