Those look really good! It's not like those cheesy rip offs where you can see each individual led. I'm sure you could get a lot of business if you offered these for sale.

I need to consult a moderator before I answer those questions... don't want to get this thread locked. I am still a newb here but I don't think I can discuss pricing unless its in the classified section.

If you want to play it safe... I guess you can talk to a moderator. However, just fyi... theres been plenty of classified ads here, and plenty of group buys in this sub-forum. Throwing out a price is far from any of that Either way... if its not asking to much, can you PM me and let me know?

Wow, I must admit I am usually not a fan of "angel eyes" on non-bmw cars. However, this looks great. Kudos to you!

I can vouch for Justin, I was in SELOC with him and he does great work. He also makes this kit for IS300's and GS's. Top notch stuff!

No, actually for the Coupe I will be taking a completely different approach. Since the headlight structure is totally different from the sedan I need to bring the rings to the front of the headlight housings to reduce the "tube affect" without going into to much detail (we can start a new thread for the coupe) the rings would actually be an oval shape and set on the housing like I can demonstrate here on a SC430:

It would be a less dramatic oval for the Coupe application though.

Well, with that being said... pricing for a project like this depends a lot on the first run of the mold. This is because all the development costs associated with the product are set into the first run. Basically, the more people we get on board, the cheaper the kits will be.

What you see I made from spare parts carefully manipulated to fit the Sedan and it took me a while to do it. In order to get this kit into production I would need to get a 3D CAD diagram done of the light and specific measurements in order to obtain the data to have my mold-maker build a production mold. Then I will design mounting hardware and an installation guide simple enough for the DIY installer.

I am not savvy enough of the G35 market to put up the initial costs of production out of pocket unless we get a list 25 people long that will purchase this kit. With 25 people it would cost ~$269 per unit total first run and with 50 people ~$225 per unit first run.

What circuit would this connect to?

In Canada we have the daytime running lights (DTRL)
which is a series cct through the hi beams.

It'd be nice to use these as DTRLs
