New interior lights! (pics)

Hey Folks -

Well, I am on step 3 of the minor upgrades. Having already done the K&N and h4/9003 upgrades to silverstars, with OEM winter mats, z-tube, parrot ck 3100, and clear corners on order, I went ahead and installed my LEDs tonight. Took all of 10 mins looking at the manuals. The dome/map lights did give me a big of a headache to put on, but once you got it, it's pretty easy.

I decided to get 4 whites and 4 blues from superbrightleds.com. Came in 3 days and pretty cheap. The whites went on the front and passenger dome lights. The blues are going on the front courtesy/step lights.

First impression is that the 4-LED replacements (3022) are not as bright as the incadescent bulbs in there, but the light is MUCH whiter - even my wife noticed them. The blues need to be angled just right to get the most of their light - but its pretty cool (and much brighter than pictures below).
Let me know whatcha think!

Z-Tube, mats this weekend, Parrot and clear-corners next week.

Cheers!

I tested this out - only prob is that the dang things just aren't bright enough for me as dome lights. I was thinking of combining the two (one white, one blue) and putting it in there - but I have a feeling that 1) I will run into clearance issues, 2) will create a cluge work around that will cause problems moving forward.

Thanks for the feedback!

Finished the install on the rear seat lights... looks nice. For some reason, the pics above are REALLY dark. I will try to take better ones this weekend and post.
