How do you take the covers off the door courtesy light in coupes?

How do you take the covers off the door courtesy light in coupes?

anyone know?....i want to change them to white LEDs, but cant seem to get the covers off.....anyone?

Assuming it's the same as the sedans, take a large tipped butter knife and a think t-shirt or paper towel. Open the door, and start on the side closet to rear tires. Put the fabric over the gab between the edge and the light fixture. Then apply pressure towards the fixture and then pry down. It took me a couple tries, but you will hear a slight pop. Then simply pull the fixture down, flip around and setup the LEDs.

I just changed mine to blue (pictures posted when the forums are brought back online).

do I use the butter knife as leverage to pry off the cover?...and the bulb size is 194 right?

194? no way.

3022 is the size

What the two others said is correct: pry it off (but dont crack it, steady pressure is the key) - it will just seem to pop or release. And 3022 is the right sizE. Superbrightled's has a perfect fit replacement 4 LED bulb. I just finished doing all domes and put blue courtesy's on.
