There's a set of 06 lights on ebay for $560 or something like that, a very good price if you ask me.

If it is your first retro after you factor in time/cost of tools/materials it will most likely be more or the same as 06 lights.

06 has an ugly cut off. Theres no color, whatsoever! It looks nothing like a BMW, Audi, Acura, or even the Altima or 350z! Its just a focused white light with no color. When I saw it in person, I was very disapointed. If I had to choose, I would do a retro, or leave it stock.

Yeah but you can color mod these in 5 min. with a pencil & or paperclip.

Don't forget to toss in the blue halogen bulb into the HID projector. Trust me it will work its coming from a well designed kit

It might not be so easy to color mod the 06 projectors. You don't want to mess up the shield and have the solenoid get stuck.

Best way to colormod is to remove the projector, hook it up to a AC power suppley, move the lens/shield while observing the beam pattern. This way, you'll see exactly which setup will give the most color and the sharpest cutoff.

Depending on the projector, it is possible to get both more color and sharper cutoff.

It'll be best to replace the stock projector lense with a Swarovski crystal. Then you'll get all kinds of colors on the road. You can start a disco party right in the parking lot.
