How much did you pay for the PIAA chrome mirror 7440s?? Autolumination has mirror chromes for way cheaper than those PIAA rip offs. I wanna see your side markers though, Ive tried LEDs and filament wedges and they still have a blue tint. Are yours pure white??

I thought 7440 was single filament, and 7443 was dual filament, and that we're using 7443s stock?

Also, get some nice beam pattern shots for us projector junkies! Like 25-50 feet away from a white wall.

7443= 05 and previous
7440= 06, since they only light up when blinking.

Thanks for the info. I guess they really got rid of the extra lighting on the 06's. I'm still waiting on my chrome amber 7443 bulbs for my 2003.

I paid $40 for a pair of the PIAA Mirror Orange at a local auto-parts store, which was not much more than the StealthAuto bulbs online, when you include shipping. (I only bought the PIAA cause I wanted the bulbs ASAP, since I already got the housings from the dealer).

On the Acura boards, somebody bought the el-cheapo chrome bulbs from auto-lumination. They all concluded it was garbage, because they were very dim, and they couldn't see it well in the daylight. They were ready to cast out all chromed bulbs, until I posted pictures of how bright my PIAA Mirror bulbs were in daylight and nighttime.

So at the very least, I'd at least get the Stealth Auto bulbs, if you didn't want to get PIAA.

Here you go, these are the pictures I posted in the Acura boards, to make believers out of em' They complained that even at night, they could barely see the autolumination chromed bulbs, then they dissed all chromed bulbs, so went out to my G, which I just installed the PIAA mirror orange bulbs, and snapped these pics.

A zoomed in pic of the turn signal with all lights off. Notice there is no trace of any orange in there.

Here is a pic of the light on, and you can see it is a nice amber color

In this pic, you can see that even with all 6 flourescent tubes in the garage on, my signals are still illuminating the wall. (Which proved to the acura guys that these lights are bright enough even in bright daylight)

In this pic, the garage lights are all off, and you can see how brightly the signals are illuminating my garage.
