G35 Tail Light LEDs Please Help
Hello G35er's.. I'm trying to find some information on the G35 Tail Light LED's and thought I'd try here. Is it possible to buy replacement LEDs for the G35 tails? (how much are they from a dealership?) Is it easy to take out an LED from your tails?
Also, does anyone know the manufacturer (even better, a model or part #) of the LED's used in the G35 tails?
I'm trying to modify my tail lights (not a G35, obviously) with LED's and am looking to possibly use the G35 LEDs as they are excellent in brightness.
Any other information such as high-flux LEDs are also welcome. Thank you very much..

I imagine the only way you can get the LED's from Infiniti would be to order the entire taillight assembly. It's sealed.
If all you want is super-bright LED's for a do-it-yourself project, try here:

I'm not too sure how the G35 ones work. They get brighter when brakes are applied, so i'm not sure if they're dual filament types, or if just a higher voltage is applied to them. But you could just get a basic breadboard and solder some high intensity LED's to it, and goto town.

If my year of electronics class serves me right....the more voltage you apply to a light source...the brighter it gets....duh!
Like stated above, the LED's are sealed and permanently attached, you can't just take them out. I hear a company is working on doing some cool stuff with our taillights (spinning in circles, etc), but they are replacing the LEDS.
If you're looking for just plain old LEDs, I hear there is a great new place called "Radio Shack" that sells a lot of electronic stuff. But if you're looking to find the source of the G35 LED's, you could try getting a job at Infiniti and doing some private investigation work. In other words, don't bother.
