DIY Side Marker Mod

Anyone had any of photos of the sidemarker MOD saved?

Just when I have a free weekend to work on it, the photos of the step-by-step process aren't showing on the page.

Would appreciate any help.

Thanks.

Sidemarker mod as in like clear corners? If thats what your talking about it will probably take you 30 seconds. The current orange ones will just pop out if you pull on them. Either that or theres a clip holding it, but all i remember is it should just pop right off. Then just twist the bulb off the old one and connect it to your new one. Hope this is what you are talking about and that it helps.

No, but thanks for the reply. I probably wasn't too clear.

I was actually looking for the side-marker blinking mod.

I found this link.

http://www.6mt.net/mod-g35-sidemarker.php

but the photos aren't posted. I was wondering if anyone saved the photos or has a link to another site where the photos are up.

Thanks.

Nope, the dealership was just trying to find an excuse to not fix the car. It doesnt cause any problems. As for the DIY instructions. Its good, but a sloppy way to do it. If you know the color of the wires, just follow the wires up the wireloom towards the top of the engine bay, near the strut points. Open up the wireloom and tap the wires in there. Once you're done, sitck the wires back into the wireloom and electrical tape the loom up and it looks completely stock. The dealership will probably never realize it, unless they're testing your turn signals for some odd reason lol.

Flipper you might want to check again. I just went to this url and I can see the pics fine.

Silverbolt, that is a great idea. I have been putting off this mod because I didn't want to dig into my
fender well during the winter. I'll have to take look at the wiring diagram
and determine color and location and do it under the hood as you suggest. Thanks!
