It's hard to tell what's going on here. Try a few pics from 25-100ft away.
ALL projectors look sharp when you're only 3 ft away from the fence/wall, etc.

i will be putting both into my 05 headlights soon one i get my last tl projector and my set of oem lights as a temp for the down time

Depends on what you consider when deciding if one projector is better than another.
I look at width, sharpness, color, and output.
I've modded TSX, TL, RS6 bixenon, E39 single xenon, and E46 single xenon projectors.
In stock form:
Width TSX > TL
Sharpness TSX > TL
Color TSX > TL
Output TL > TSX
Modded (in my case, TSX with custom shield, TL with clear lens)
Width TSX > TL (in the living room, but on the road, the usable output at the sides puts TL > TSX)
Sharpness TL > TSX
Color TSX = TL
Output TL > TSX
To illustrate:
TSX on the top, TLs on the bottom. Usable width: TL wins. But if you were able to look at the sides of the beams yourself, TSX is wider.
