You have to strip the trim inside the trunk (at least the middle part and bend the side parts) than you will see 2 or 3 screws (i don't remember anymore) per side sticking out of the sheetmetal. They hold the rear lights in place. Unscrew them and you will be able to remove the light cluster from the outside. Pull it gently, diconnect the wires and pull it out. The rest is obvious.

Post the pics when you're ready. I'm courious how it will look like.

Last time I tried putting LEDs in my car for blinkers...the wattage or voltage was off so the car thought my lights were going out so it started blinking really fast like those ghetto hondas....

Might want to make sure to install a resistor or something.
I'm also very interested on how this would look...post pics when you're done.
good luck

They are going to be VERY dim. You will probably lose almost all side visibility with your rear turn signal. Current matrix LEDs just don't cut it for signal applications.

Yeah, I was looking at the FX rear signals the other day, and they have a contour that follows the edge of the car, that way cars on the side of you can actually see when you are signalling. Not sure if that applies to the coupe. Its not the end of the world, just something to think about, hopefully the LED's will sit close the lens that way they are the most visible.
