I hate to interrupt your bashing party but I just wanted to at least give an explaination.

Right now I am working by myself in a garage because my shop and basically everything I ever owned was destroyed by the flood. The people that worked with me are displaced around the country, I am the only one besides an assistant who drives in from Baton Rouge to help me when he can.

I have never had a serious complaint about my work or my comapny and reading this thread is like a kick in the *****.

I honestly tried with these installs and I thought the work was good. We never did G35 retros before and that was explained to the customers before they shipped the lights. I gave it a shot and worked hard on these lights, our retros for the Lexus GS and IS are always well executed but its just a different scenario all together. I thought I could to it and I needed to make it work so I could earn the money to get my shop back up and running give my employees a reason to move back to New Orleans.

I was seriously depressed after the flood and this board and their enthusiasm for the Demon Eyes gave me a purpose and something to look forward to. If it wasnt for this board I think I would have just given up and found a job in Atlanta. I developed and produced a great product in the Halo kits. Just because I apparently "suck" at retrofits dont abandon the Demon Eyes, they are a great product and I am proud to have brought them to the G35 community.

AAC will not execute another Retrofit until the shop is reopened and my employees are back and trained to do them properly.

I am sorry for any problems we caused but I honestly had only good intentions for our customers. I am also sorry for my lack of promptness to these threads. I do not have time to browse the forums and see whats going on because I am usually helping family gut their homes or spending time getting screwed over repeatedly by insurance company.

Me and Pagaon have already made a deal for a refund on some of his costs and I am working with Ed on his issue.

I can still and will continue to sell and do the Demon Eye installations and it is my goal to not have another unsatisfied customer on this board.

all i can say is that to me, pictures speak louder than words. Unless you think that was worth the price that that customer paid and would be completely 100 percent happy with that mod, then you have no one to blame and no one to make an excuse to. Bottom line is that you new that you wouldnt be 100 percent happy to place on your car, then you should not have shipped it back to him. I am thinking of getting the deamon eyes and clearance strip done but i will need to be reassured that you will perform quality work that YOU would be 100 percent happy with. will you PM me with a price on that and assure great work? I would check out others doing this, but im not sure who else does this. When will you be up and goiung with yopur full staff of employes? thanks RX

My other concern is that if this illuminates the inside of the housing, you’d see the light escaping from the space around the bezel. I've thought about changing the plastic bezel with a chrome one and using aluminum soda can for the shroud, but I think the current bezel opening in the housing is too large for that now. Is plastic even an ok material to use for a bezel?
Ok, I’m done venting, thanks for reading. Look forward to hearing any suggestions folks might have with regards to my questions above.
Like Pete said. You need to cover the area between the housing & the chrome bezel.
I've found that the 19oz. PROGRESSO soup cans work Great with the M3 type
Projector bezels. You can use the raised section or the straight section of the can. It just depends on the look you're going for...I went with the raised look on mine

Looks really good, Rugrat! Give us more details, and beam shots, please? If you managed to fit the Q45 projectors in there, I'll be really impressed. If you managed to convert them to bixenon, then I'm letting you do my next retrofit!

You actually fit the Q45 lenses in there? Thats wild!

RugRat let me know if you want to meet up for lunch again, I would love to see these in person.

Didn't mean to highjack this thread but Thanks Guys.
EK... I've been following Yours & Petes Projector headlight mods here on Driver for awhile.
Sorry to disappoint you guys though. I wasn't able to get my hands on any Q45 projectors & the one pair I did find was prohibitively expensive. Besides after doing a little research I found out they most likely wouldn't fit in the G headlight housing...so having an extra pair of damaged headlights I started experimenting. I found these APC SpiderVision Foglights at AutoZone, cut the lens off of the H-3 housings and mounted them in the bottom High/Fog beam reflector bezels while retaining the PIAA 7500k Plasma Spark Blue High /Fog beam. They fit perfectly. I haven't mounted them in my G yet (it's in the body shop) and I'm sure the Q45/Spider lenses will block some of the light output. But I'm just playing around with different ideas and liked the Q45 Look...
LCA575, I'll PM you when I get my car back from the Bodyshop...

Oh man, This really shows the significance of Forums and the whole internet thing! RX (sorry to hijack)

Still looks good though. Honestly I kinda knew that they were the halogen fogs with the 7 lens setup, but I figured that I'd give you the benefit of the doubt. The problem with the fog/high beam is that if you want to retain 100% OEM function, you'll need a bixenon set up there, and that means TL, FX, RS6, or littodevil modded LS430s in there.

edit: what's the JB Weld on the bezel for? Did it crack? I secured a piece of aramid gasket to that portion of my bezel, hopefully it'll cut down on the heat transfer and hopefully decrease the chance of that bezel cracking. So far, so good.

Yea the bezel was cracked so I applied a little JB Weld (for it's high heat tolerance)underneath the bezel to hopefully keep it from cracking again. I'll then add a piece of adhesive backed 2000 degree Aluminum Heat Barrier(J.C.Whitney) to reflect any heat. This stuff is great, you can stick it anywhere...
