RugRat, can you tell me a little about your turn signal lens? I plan to remove my orange lens also, and yours looks unique. Anything but that florescent light cover stuff!

Actually I'm replacing the amber lens turn signal with a PIAA 002 Turbo-L Super LED accent or running Lamp (that's a mouthful). In the latest version I've replaced the lens of the PIAA 002 with a rounded projector lens(last pic). The turn signal indicators will be moved to the bottom half of the Clearance & Clear corners with Amber LEDs which will only be visible when blinking. I may also put a ring of the Amber LEDs behind the PIAA 002 rounded projector lens. I'll know more after I test it to make sure the Amber LEDs aren't washed out by the White PIAA LEDs.
Hope this helps...Rick

Paragon...I apologize for hijacking your thread. After answering your post when you ask "A) Is it ok to leave the projector the way it is with the open space between the lens and the reflector as shown above?" with pictures of my Progresso soup can rear reflector shroud cover, I was ask several questions about it & my light mod...

It sounds like AAC has stepped up to the plate and taken responsibilty for the previous sub-standard work on Yours & Eds headlight mods...
I met with him and furnished AAC with their first G35 Coupe headlight bezel here in Atlanta while he was up here from New Orleans last fall, so he could get measurements for the Demon Eyes mod.
He seemed like a nice guy and very consciousness, and the light mod on his Lexus was Perfectly Sweet with a lot of detail. So I'm not surprised that he's making an effort to make things right with you guys.
Keep us posted...
Rick

Rick,

No worries, it’s all good. I appreciate your feedback using the soup can…definitely different and one I haven’t considered before -- not to mention the rest of the work on your lights. Your pics look very sweet and have definitely given me some other ideas for my lights. So, even tho it was a hijack, it was a useful one at that.

AAC has been responsive and we settled everything yesterday. Going forward, I hope Justin will use the feedback from Ed and I to improve his level of custom work for future G35 projects -- if he desires to continue offering this service. Judging by subsequent pics and reviews of AAC from other folks, it looks like he may already have, which is good to see.
