here are some pics if people were wondering what the color of the stock 06 projectors look like compared with an 04 headlamp w/ the Ultinon bulbs

how much did the 6k cost you, and where did you get them from ? the 06 projector is nice, the 6k color looks great, but the 06 light output is scattered much more even.

mmmm.... i forgot how much the 6k were, but I got them in a group buy a while back through xenonfactory. I bunch of members here were on it. They're $135 each at xenonfactory now... I think we got them for like $210? i forgot....i'll have to look them up.

to me, the 06 light output is more focused (isn't thats what its suppose to do).... my 6K Ultinon is scattered all over the place...

they are the best mod ever. i think infiniti finally finished off the g35 with the addition of the projectors. trust me, they light up the night 10x better than the hold reflector xenons. hope you got a good deal, like with chad from infiniti specialists.

 

i actually bought the projectors from Chad and also got a few other goodies from him too.

I hope I get the bulbs by this weekend.

 

how does the ultinon on the projector compare to the ultinon on the reflectors? is there still a purple tint? and how is the light output. I've seen the ultinon on the reflectors, and it doesn't seem to be too bright... thanks.

 

the pictures i posted above are of the ultinon in the 06 projectors. there is a purple tint. even my gf who doesn't care about cars at all likes them and thinks they look A LOT better than the reflectors.

to tell you the truth, the light output is awesome, but once in a while i do consider going to the stock lumen D2S bulbs only because i know that will give me the most optimal output. i guess it's the trade off for that purplish tint

got my Ultinons earlier (2/9/06) i ordered them on Ebay, and I must say, that was fast shipping!!

cant wait to buy the H1 bulbs and the city lights this weekend and get them installed
