PIAA H4 Xtreme White Plus

Any one use these for fogs? How close a match are they to the HIDs?

They're pretty good IMO. When you turn them on they're stocklike for a few seconds then it matches pretty well. Sorry don't have pics of them though.

i have them and they are *close* to stock HIDs - but not a perfect match. much better than stock fogs though.

+1. I thought that they would be much closer since PIAA rates them at 4000K (or maybe 300K makes that much difference) but yea definately not a perfect match.

So what is the better match, that is also safe, dont want something that gets too hot and ruins the housing?

I have seen so many post on this topic but cant seem to get the straight answer.

i have them as well, and they're very similar to oem hid's. good buy imho. look for the bellof, or catz if you want 99.9% matches.

If you purchase these bulbs all I have to do is take out my fog light bulbs and put these bulbs in and I am done??
