PIAA xtreme whites

I installed PIAA xtreme whites in every hole last night. Here are the results. No pics because the camera does not display the actual color of the light.

The H1 bulbs. White light, no blue, about like stock brightness with no yellow color.
The HB2 bulbs. When fog lights are on, very blue in the housing. When high beams are on, bright white light. No blue.
The 168 clearance bulbs, No blue, just white light glowing in the housing.

Overall, I am very happy with the results, but:
Take the tire and the fender flap off, it makes the job alot easier.
The lower bulb (HB2) is very blue (in the housing on low beam), if you don't want the blue, you might want to get superwhite platinums or silverstars.

Hope this is informative.

Re: PIAA xtreme whites

Stupid question and I'm sure it's covered somewhere else, but what are the bulb types for each application?

Re: PIAA xtreme whites

Take the wheel off.

If you don't, you can't see into the housing to unclip the bulb. You can do it by feel if you are good at that sort of thing.

Hi, why are there three numbers for the fog light? Are there three light bulbs in there? Also where did you get these parts? How much were they???

They're all the same (one) bulb- different reference equivalents.
Do a 6 month search on 'bulbs' for further discussion.

All the same bulb, just the auto industry trickin' it up for us.
I got my bulbs at www.optauto.com. They had everything in stock and shipped right away.
