So Fini... ...are your OEM '05 headlights in good condition? Interested is selling them? PM me a price if so. I was looking at buying some new ones (housings only) to modify.

So, Got my car back today! doing this install was harder than I thought it would be. First off, it took me a lil bit to take off the bumper. THEN, took me FOREVER to figure out how to take off the the stupid wiring harness. THIRD! the passenger side wires were SOOOO short, I had no room to pull out the housing so I would have more room for my hand. I finally got it off after I dunno how long.... but I need to redo the bumper. After i screwed everything back on, I noticed some foam was sticking up behind the bottom grill.

After about 3 hours of work... lights look awsome!!! I modified my stock bulb, but will have some osram D2S coming in soon. got piaa mirror bulb in the blinker, and silverstars in the fog. I know its not a good match, but I don't plan on using the fogs much anyway. these projectors are way better than the reflector housing! I will post pics as soon as i can borrow a better digicam. as you can see, my pics weren't such good quality at the top.

So you ordered the ones that dont have bulbs? I know that means that they dont come with the HID bulbs, I already have two 5k D2S bulbs standing by but what about all the other bulbs? Does it come with the others or is it totally void of bulbs?

Edit... I decided after my noobish post to go out and order "better than stock" bulbs. I got 2 chromed extreme white 194's and 2 chromed amber 7440's from www.autolumination.com. I then ordered a pair of PIAA xtreme white H1's from http://www.optionsauto.com/prodinfo....mber=PIA-11655 .

Yes I ordered the ones that doesn't come with bulbs. you have to buy all the bulbs, not just the HID.

I tried the chrom extreme white.. and it barely put out any light. you can't even really tell its on. I didn't get from where you got it tho. I have sylvania silverstars H1 in the fog. I want more lumens for when I need it. I don't think I will be using the fogs very often since these projectors are some freakin bright!

I tried the modified D2R stock bulb that I had before the Osram Xenarc 4300K came in. After I installed the Xenarc, the modified bulb looked like crap. I like the xenarc much better. its not as yellow as the philips HID.
