So then what stops us from using anything below 4100K? Such as 3000K or even lower? What are the brights rated at?

anything below 4100K is **** yellow. Thats why.

LOL you must be joking. I am certain that its not an improovement in visibility. The heigher the the number, the worse it illuminates.
