3800k~4300k are full color spectrum, where 6000k+ HID are filtering out visible light.
If people really want blue looking lights they should get projectors and 4300k HID bulbs, and get a blue/purple cut-off.
8000k are crap!

i just installed 8k as well. I love them, they look awesome. I dont see much of a difference in the light output in normal conditions. However, it was raining yesterday and I did notice that they are not as bright and do not go as far. However, I have Hyper White fog lights that are extremely white with no tint and accompanied with the 8k the light output is like stock

the highest i'd go is 6000K in projectors, but i'd stick to OEM bulbs in reflectors.
