Changed bulbs, lights dont always turn on.help

hey, i recently bought a pair of 8000k light bulbs from someone off the forums. I installed them and i like them etc etc. occasionally one of the lights goes out. it stays off for a day or so, but it comes back after much irritation. any ideas what that could be? any help guys? i dont really wanna go back to stock lights

try switching the bulbs from the left to the right.

if the problem still excists then it's the bulb, but if you switch the bulbs and the same thing happens but to the other bulb instead, maybe it's your ballasts that's starting to go poo-poo, but then if your ballasts were acting up, then your old stock bulbs would of done the same thing. (wow, what a long run-on sentence lol)

anywho, your best bet is just to swap the 8000K bulbs. good luck!

ok so i pulled out the bulb and saw that the bulb was broken. reallly pissed me off. sooo as i was pissed off, I attempted to put the OEM ones back in as I was upset I put the bulb back in...voila it didnt work. checked the bulb, and because of my anger I broke that one as well. as you can tell the anger isnt helping, and yes, i broke the other one as well.....any suggestions? should i put stock broken ones in and take it to the dealer saying they stopped working?

post pics of the thing you say it's broken... and did your 8000K actual bulb break or a piece of the headlight unit break?

hey
I WAS SO WRONG. it seemed as if the brown strip was completely broken, but they were just loose and cracked. I though that would be the problem. I took it to dealer who did nothing "because it was in an accident" went to the body shop who fixed my car and told them. Waited 3 hours for them to figure it out and finally figured it was the control module connected behind the light. so the bulbs were working fine. now i gotta wait 2 days until they ship the part and to install it. Shouldnt a body shop fix everything the first time you go there?? man im angry
