I have searched for the past two weeks read hundreds of threads and nothing has shown or described how to remove/replace the city light(running light) in the 2006 headlight. I don't want to just start tearing stuff apart to figure it out. Does anyone know how to get to it? I purchased piaa wedge bulbs and cant install them need some direction. thanks in advance

 

They are located inside the same compartment as the fog bulbs. Remove the cover and look in there, they are in the upper corner.

Well the cover just twists off. If you dont know how to get to them thats a different story.

It may be easier to partly remove your bumper, and remove the headlight assembly, as the city lights are pretty deep in there.

Otherwise, I'd recommend to remove the wheel-well-lining, and actually remove the tire. That way you can poke your head in there and see where the bulb is. You might need to use tweezers to pull the city light out.

 

i was thinking that as well, but i wouldn't do that just to change the city lights... not unless you were upgrading bulbs all around well at least the h1s as well...

 

Today, I replaced my city lights and turn signals. I jacked the car, removed the front wheel well lining, and accessed it from there. Kinda tough, but it wasn't as bad as I thought.
