06' headlight bulbs - HELP

I know the topic of the 06' headlights has been beaten for awhile now. I'm picking up the housing this saturday and want to get my bulbs asap. I still need some advise regarding the bulbs. I'm going with the Philips Ultinon 6000k low/high. My question is, which fog and city light bulbs would match the best. I know there is no perfect match, but has anyone seen a set up with the Ultinon low/high with a great match? Any help out there would be appreciated guys. And pics would be awesome. Thanks

Jonathan

I went ULTINON 6000Ks myself

I went w/ the PIAA GTX, they don't match by any means but are nice nevertheless, they really are overpowered by the Phillips tho (which is a great thing)

I didn't bother for fogs (didnt' buy)

Of course the OVERPRICED MIRROR ORANGE PIAAS tickled my fancy too =T

I used the OEM bulbs and sanded off the ceramic shielding, and carved a notch to match the D2S socket. Thus I basically converted the OEM D2R bulbs to D2S. Here are some pics of the lights in the housing. The light quality is wonderful and 3x better than the previous generation lights.

Can the stock H1 bulb from my 2004 lights be used for the H1 (fog) for the 2006 lights?

The fogs in the 04' are H3 (or H4 I can't remember, but definately not H1), because they are dual filament Hi/Fogs. So no, they won't work in the 06' assembly.

Anyone know where I can get a decent set of el-cheapo yellow fogs? I saw the nokias but those are like 90 bucks or something like that. I know they make yellow caps for H3 or H4 bulbs or something like that, but those caps won't work on H1 bulbs.

I have superwhites in my fogs right now, and they match somewhat, but it makes the whole headlight fuzz together when you look at it straight up. I think a yellow bulb will make the projectors stand out more.

Okay, maybe I said it wrong. Can the H1 bulb from the low/high on my 2004 lights be used as the fog (also an H1 bulb) for my 2006 lights?

You guys are all confused. The H1s are only on the 2006 model. All the previous ones are H4. The fogs on the 06' are not interchangeable with any of the previous ones.
