H1 bulbs

how many watts should they be to handle the stick harness?
i have an 03 coupe and i just put on the 06 headllights...i see some that say 100w all the way down to 55w...are they actually rated at that wattage?

what should i be looking for?also what color temperature should i be looking for as well?

also any suggestions on h1 fog bulbs?

Stock h1 on the 06s are 55w and that is what you should stick to. Some manufacturers use terminology such as " 55w=110w" or "like 110w" which is just marketing hype. But there are some high wattage 80w H1s, shouldnt really use those. I have XD5 5800K H1s, cost me 9.99$ on ebay. Works just fine, looks great. There a lot of other brands cheaper than PIAA if you dont want to spend that much money. The 5800Ks are a lil more whiter than the stock HIDs so if you want a better match you can try 5000K H1s.

I used to use cheap fogs but they keep burning out.
I went with PIAAs and they never burnt out.
This time, I went with CATZ 3900k.
I haven't gotten them yet but I'll let tyou know how it turns out.
