Stupid lighting question.

According to Sylvania the parking light takes a 168 bulb and the front sidemarker takes a 194. Then I do a search for the Piaa's on ebay and the auction says that they're the same bulb. Is this right? Sorry for the dumb question.

Cool, thanks. Why does Sylvania want to make them look like they're different? Anyways, should I go with Piaa super white leds or are the white leds you can get at Pep Boys good enough?

Don't get anything Pepboys. For much less money you can get the 6-wedge bulbs from superbrightleds.com or the 5LED Matrix ones from autolumination.com. Both are brighter and cheaper than the PIAAs.

FYI I tried the autolumination matrix and the PIAA filament hyperwhites and they both produce a blue light, not the pure white I wanted, just letting you know.

The superbrightled 6LEDs look even bluer than the above 2, they actually make the PIAAs look greyish, but they're noticeably brighter too. The only true white light you will get is with the PIAA Teras, but they aren't exactly cheap at $50/pair.

What do you think would be a better match for some white ccfl tubes? I plan on using those when I get clear corners and for the license plate area.
