Flashlight comes in handy. Headroom is already limited, no need to add clutter.

the 3 series coupe has a night setup with the light in the rear pillar. Maybe you can try to do something there but it would involve cutting out the rear trim.

^^If you have a coupe with moonroof, I don't see how you're going to flush mount any cabin light. Your best bet would be to wire some lights to your B pillar to your door lights as mentioned.

yeah it would probably be hard. i just thought somebody did, but not in the pillars. i just wished we had it, the coupes i had before had dome lights in the center while having moonroofs too.

I'm sure you can live without the light. If you're really wanting to add them to the B pillar and willing to cut parts of your car, it can be done. Whether it's worth the time and effort is up to you.

yeah i know anything can be done that's why i asked if anyone had did it, and maybe i'll do it if it looks good. and i don't want it in the B-pillars though. yeah i can live without it, it's just one thing i noticed missing when i got it, having gotten used to one, even with coupes w/ a sunroof.
