hey i just did my clear corners today, just wanted to know everyones suggestions on what type of bulb i should get for the corners and where to get it from, itd also be a big help if you could post pics of what they look like. Also, what kind of bulbs the license plate light uses and if it's difficult to install? thanks everyone

 

Not sure how hard it is to change the license plate bulbs, but it should be pretty easy I'm sure. The plate lights on the new Lexus GS looks really nice. I would love to have those. Anyone know what kind of bulbs those are?

 

194/168 wedge bulb is the license plate. i suggest going with a LED white bulb.

never buy aftermarket bulbs from autozone or pepboys they are JUNK. get it online.

this is one but the best thing to do is to find out what brand of bulb and what size you want and just get it off ebay.

o and if you get it from ebay dont get BESTHONGKONG i got a few 194 bulbs from them and they were not bright at all.

 

I'm running the PIAA LED's in both my corners and license plate. The license plate bulbs (yes there are two) are easy to change. If you look up above the license plate there are two plastic holders. Each with a clip on the right side. Just push in the clip and pull the plastic holder down, swap out the bulb up push it back in the hole until the clip snaps into place. Both holders are set up the same with the clip in the same spot. Hope this helps.

alrite so 194 is the size of the bulb for the corners..is it the same for the license plate bulbs?

 

So does anyone know what kind of bulbs are being used in the LEXUS GS license plates.

 

if they are 194 like ours then you can just go to the lexus dealer and buy them.
