Another 2006 Projector Thread (Installed)

Just finished installing the 06 projectors on my '04... I love em, they have great light output and just the right amount of a bluish tint It is amazing driving on the road and seeing how white the lines are and the signs are compared to the other cars on the road.

Here are some pics:

Now for the Cut off's

I will lower the passenger side slightly as I do not want to blind on-coming traffic. BTW are the turn signals no longer supposed to stay lit up at all times? or is that what the "City light" is for now?

Thanks!

The first pic is w/ the flash going off on my camera, the 2nd pic is w/ out the flash and shows the truer color of the light.

yea, the turn signals no longer stay on all the time. I think the city light is just a parking light...i don't really see any other purpose for it.

Congrats on your new lights. What color temperature are you using in your projectors? The first pic looks like 6000k and the second one looks like 8000k.

They are actually Piaa 6600K, in the first pic the flash went off and it muted the color of the light. In the 2nd pic I had the brights on and the flash did not go off, showing the more natural color of the light output.

I noticed also that when you turn the brights on the H1's turn off now...

Yeah, I was actually thinking about that but I decided I am going to give the Bat's overlays a shot before I go and dismantle the headlights. I chose to go with black overlays GTR style on the headlights and tails. I got them in the mail yesterday and am going to put them on this Sat.

I think they should look pretty good. I have my Data System grille off at the moment on my bench in the garage. I re-sprayed it and and waiting for the Clear to harden before I buff it out.

I am also playing with the idea to paint my grills in the bumper black as well with a nice sheen of clear on them to give em a nice glint in the sun.

I got to remember I need to tie all this in with my Rotora BBK I have on order, which I chose in a chrome finish.

I'll wait on the grilles until I get the BBK installed.

decisions, decisions.....

Thanks for the props guys!
