Custom Retrofit Quad Projectors with LEDs for G35 Coupe

Hey everyone, I've been on the fence about selling these for a long time now, but I don't foresee myself re-installing these headlights again anytime soon ever since I took these quad retrofit headlights off my car over a year ago. The theme of my vehicle has changed so I'm hoping to pass these headlights on to someone that will appreciate them.

These lights are set-up to have both "Iron Man" LED halo lights around the projectors and down the side. I asked for switches to be installed so I could have the option of just running the Iron Man lights or the lights down the side. At some point in time the LEDS on one of the clearance strips went out so I switched them off and just used the Iron Man lights around the projectors. Its a nice effect as its not just a standard Halo all the way around, but instead broken up into segments all the way around the projector.

The low beams are bi-xenon projectors and the fog lights are projectors as well. A Morimoto ballast is attached to run the fog light projectors running 4300K. The low beams were running at 6K, but you can add whatever you like. OEM or another type of ballast will need to be swapped over to run the low beams as the Morimoto's included with the lights are running the fog lights.

There are few cracks in the shrouds that I feel are minor and can be seen in the pics provided. As this was a retrofit job that I paid for to have done, I guess some cracks here and there were inevitable as these are the 03-04 headlights that do not come with projectors. Additionally, when the work was being carried out, new clearances strips were added. Like I mentioned before, the LEDs in the clearance strip on one light went out so I turned them off with the switches that are attached to just run the Iron Man lights.

That's about it though. If anyone has questions please let me know. I would like $800 for the lights and I will take care of shipping costs via USPS Priority. Paypal would be the easiest way for payment. Thank you.

Tony

Hey guys I'm not sure what you mean by cut-off pics, but the ones with the LEDs lit up are from the builder when the lights were retrofitted. I never took any pics with the lights on or off for that matter, on my car. I know people would like to see them lit up at least so the pics with the red car and the one on the wood floor are from the builder when these were made. Hopefully that doesn't confuse anyone. If you have any questions please let me know. Thank you.

It's the shot of the headlights beam against a wall or garage-the "cutoff" is the line shown

This is EXACTLY what I am going to do with mine, even the same temp colors, except I'm painting the shrouds/housing gloss black. Good to know the projectors are a nice fit.

Hey Jersey, sorry I know what you mean now. Unfortunately, I never took any pics with the cutoff of the lights. For what counts, the lights had a really nice cut-off actually. The projected beam was a bit staggered On the driver side it was just a little bit higher than the passenger side. I think this is normal though. Sometime I would run the fogs as well because I liked the look of lights emanating from all four projectors.

Frostbite, glad to see my lights can inspire you. All the light supplies, with the exception of the new light side strips added, can be obtained from the retrofitsource. The exact style of projectors and ballasts were obtained from there. Good luck with your project. If you change your mind you could always buy mine and paint them black since the rest of work is already done

Your driver side was higher than the passenger side?

You can't buy RHD shields here, and he didn't do the install so he's delusional .

From what I remember, the cut-off was pretty defined with a slight kick up on the driver side. It wasn't that much of a difference really. I was using the standard 03-04 coupe headlights without projectors before that so the cut-off line was noticeable to me. The cut-off looked like a ledge in way. I think the builder just adjusted the lights so the driver side was tilted a tad bit higher. When driving I really liked the output and of the lights. I never got flashed by other drivers, which would happen if the lights were too high. As far as the internal reflectors, I wouldn't know. To me everything seemed normal.

Did you block off the hole for the stock ballast?

Yes, the hole gets blocked once the OEM ballasts are swapped over. The Morimoto ballasts provided with these lights have a bracket attached to them so once the OEM ballasts are put into place, the screws used also secure the brackets attached to the Morimoto ballasts. Both ballasts will be stacked on top of each other for each headlight.
