Wtb: coupe projector headlights.

Looking for a set, preferably in good condition, minimal to no hazing, and complete with HID bulbs and ballasts.

Thanks

Anyone? My driver side bulb burnt out and I'd hate to buy new bulbs now when I plan on swapping over to 06+ projectors.

You shouldn't need a ballast, and the bulbs are recommended to replace by now anyways .

I think one of my OEM ballasts are burnt out too. It's hard to see back there without taking everything out but there appears to be a non-oem ballast mounted to the radiator support bracket.

I know the OEM ballasts will work for both bulb types but the d2s bulb may require a notch to be cut into the base for it to work.

Okay? And? It'll work for now.

Otherwise Morimoto XB 5500K bulbs are $50 shipped and Osram CBI's are $110 shipped right now.

Reuse your old ones for okay performance or upgrade to new when you get your projectors. The newest projector running old bulbs is over 10 years old.

You can buy the sushi ballasts over at the retrofit source or eBay.

It doesn't make sense to buy new D2R bulbs now when I'm going to upgrade to projectors soon anyway. Making the notch is easy sure, but the D2Rs do not perform as well in the D2S housing. Financially it doesn't make sense to buy a set of bulbs I might use for a few weeks, then need to replace the bulbs in the projectors, too.
