Why would you buy an m45 over a m35?

Just wondering. You pay so much dime for a V8 and the difference is not substantial.

some people like the added power and the extra cost is worth it to them.

I would def go for the 45, the 35 seemed a tad underpowered when I drove it

Don't get me wrong I am not bashing the m45, it's just that you can get the same package for a 35 from a 45.

Also, I have driven the m45 but made the mistake not to drive the 35. Should did it the other way around.

Is there anything on the 45 that you cannot get on the 35?

Couldn't disagree more..........if you don't mind the extra coin, the difference in power and torque to the VQ is very substantial, and a real treat.

The VQ is great and I can't fault it at all, but in the VK the extra 2 cylinders, 30 odd hp and 40 odd ft. lbs. throbbing thru true dual exhaust is music to my ears.

30 add hp and 40 add tq and all of that is bhp not whp. So it it worth approx. 9K? Apparently some of you guys agree and some of you guys don't. Just wondering.

The M45 has that killer sound.
But if your looking for pwr get the M35 and turbo charge it.

Listen to the clip of the 45 with an exhaust system.

would it be possible to Turbo/Super an M45? or does the engine bay lack room?

I would think its possible, however I have yet to see it. In Japan there is an over bore and piston upgrade for the V8.
