Next years M35/M45

Trying to decide whether to trade my 03 G35 sedan in on a new 07 G35 sedan or wait another year and see if they put the G's new engine in the 08 M35.

Wonder what the chances are for a 2007.5 engine upgrade on the M35?

My guess is that the M35 will get a bored out version on the new G's engine in 2008 and be renamed the G37. The M45 will get a new split block V8 based on the new G's V6 and be renamed the M47.

What are the chances for a 2007.5 engine upgrade on the M35? Probably zero.

I think a 3.7 would be a good fit for the M..... : more torque.
I'm also guessing that a new 6 or 7 speed auto tranny will debut too..

So for 2007 the M35 has less horsepower than the G35? What is the explaination behind this? Are people getting pretty decent discounts on the 2007 M35s?

No explaination needed. M35 is for a different crowd. They aren't looking for 1/4 mile times they are looking for leg room, decent gas mileage and awesome features.

Step up to the M45 if want more giddy up.

so, anyone got any news if the '08 models will be updated?

would be nice if it got the revised 3.5 or even the 3.7, real aluminum trim, guages like the G, and maybe sleeker looking tail lights

I think the 08 they will offter 3 kinds of engine, the 3.5, 3.7 (if its in next gen coup) and the V8. A possible new V8 engine from Infiniti?
