2006 Mustang GT kill

Hello. I just thought I would chime in and give you M45 owners something to smile about. My brother has a 06 M45 sport with a stillen exhaust, I drive a g35C 6spd. He had a clean race today with a new Mustang GT coupe manual. They left the light and the mustang got the jump because of the manual, then he got caught by the M45 in 2nd when the stang chirped his tires and the M45 continued pulling in 3rd and finally backed off. He has also beaten a dodge r/t daytona charger. Anyway, just thought I would let you all know what kills have been made ; )

What I dont get is... 1.) the mustang weighs 3500lbs w/ 300hp, the M45 weighs 3984lbs w/ 335.
2.) The Daytona R/T Charger weighs 80lbs more than the M45 but has 350hp/375tq.

common sense tells me these cars should be faster.

Efficiency of the drive train. They also could be crappy drivers.

its all about engine tuning efficiency. My 02 Explorer 4.0 v6 beat a 96 ford explorer 5.0 v8. my car out weighs his by 200 lbs. we have same hp. but he has 34 more lb/ft tq. i won because of better fueling system. and it was from 0-75. so his tq had a major benefit. like i said its the engine tuning and efficiency.
