M35 vs M45 - speed

How much faster is the M45sport vs the M35sport? I am thinking 0-60mph/5-60mph, and quarter mile.

Also, in daily driving, how much difference in power can you feel?

Thanks.

5.90 sec.

1/4 Mile

M35 Sport

275 hp @ 6200 rpm

I couldnt find 0-60 nor 1/4 times.

Edit: I got my source from yahoo autos.
Apparently they are way off

Thanks guys. So, it does not look like the M45 is that much faster than the M35. I do think at some point Infiniti will have up the power to somewhere in the high 300 hp or low 400 hp to complete the the E550.

Whats the price difference? You buying new? I have heard milage is about the same... I have been getting around 17mpg around town and 22mpg on the hiway as long as I behave... (in an M45S) Honestly I would drive both, 0-60/quarter mi etc is not going to give you a representation of every day driving. Unless you live your life a 1/4mi at a time... The big difference is the torque, not the top end. The M is a HEAVY car and torque is going to make a big difference.

About half a second quicker to 60 and through the traps. But believe me, it FEELS faster. The bottom end in the 45 can definitely be felt off the line.

Not necessarily. Base M45s and the '08 M45x get 18 inchers. Only the M45 Sport gets 19s. Same thing for the M35. Base 35s and 35xs get 18s but the M35 Sport gets the same 19s as the M45 Sport.

You can also get the a M35 and have the 19inch wheels. The 35/45 are exactly the same interior and exterior only difference between the two is engine. If you want the 19 inch wheels, you have to have the SPORTS package.

Ooopps ^^^said the same thing.

The times posted here seem pretty accurate according to most reports.

Can't wait for the M37/M50!

Motortrend actually recommends the M35 because of the lighter V6 engine. Alot lighter and a bit more nimble in the corners. M45 V8 makes the car very nose heavy. Straight line acceleration is better in the M45 though. And yes, u can get the 19" on the M35.

I agree with Kev. Don't front, and badge it something its not. It's like this Russian customer at F1, who drives a regular C class MB, but puts a AMG C55 or C63 label on it. When clearly its NOT! Tacky, very tacky
