How can I tell what options an M has (from pics)

Based upon what I've noticed on the 06+ FX, navigation can be determined from little pictures on the the buttons near the directional ****. Does the same apply to the M?
In particular, what options does this M have? Does it have nav?

I'm guessing it's base model by the price, but it looks like it has nav icons.

This looks like the base. On the M, the sport model has a different color stitching not the same color as the steering.
It's a non-Sport, easily identified by the chrome headlight housings (Sports have blacked out headlight housings) and the 18" wheels (Sports have split 5 spoke 19"s).
Moonroofs are standards on Ms so no need to worry about that.
From the looks of it, the car at least seems to have the Journey Package judging by the climate controlled front seats which were available as part of said package as an option on non-Sports. I also see an AFS (Adaptive Front Lighting) switch under the far left A/C vent (also part of the Journey Package) as well as a speaker in the middle of the dash which would indicate that the car at least has the 8 speaker Bose system. I don't see speakers in the front seats next to the headrests though so the car doesn't have the Tech package which included Navi for '06. The car does have a reverse camera though.
Navi was also available as a standalone option though (although I think you at least needed the Journey Package to get it which this car is equipped with). Easiest way to tell if the car has Navi is that the useable portion of the screen within the housing on non-Navi equipped cars is only 7". Navi equipped cars have the same screen housing, but there's an 8" screen in there (less black border around the screen). From the pictures, it looks like the 7" version but I can't say for certain as the resolution of the pictures is absolute crap. Best thing to do is call and ask.

Awesome man, that's perfect. I appreciate you taking the time and explaining that for me.
I'd call and ask, but from experience I'm finding that to be a bad idea. The salesmen never give me a straight answer, and only say something like "I think so, come in and see" or "yes, these cars come with that feature. If this one doesn't have it, we'll find you one that does." Basically, run-arounds with bait and swap attempts. Worse yet, for every call I make, it adds two calls a day interrupting me, trying to get me to come in. These salesmen are ruthless, and never give answers other than asking you to come in for an appointment.
So, I've found it easier to investigate on my own than deal with these people. They don't even know the cars they're sell, they just spam me and make **** up.
In case anyone is curious, what I'm doing is looking into trading in my coupe for something more functional. I still can't decide on a FX, M, or new model sedan.

Honestly, despite the fact that I know you don't want to, what you should do is go down there (provided it's close enough) and check out the car for yourself. If it doesn't have Nav, simply walk away from that particular car and ask to see something that does have Nav. This is the only way to find out for yourself for sure. When you get there, do yourself a favor and speak to the receptionist. Ask her who she thinks the most laid back salesman is and ask to speak with him. That way even if the car isn't what you want, you'll feel comfortable enough to leave him your number so that he can call you if and when they take in the car you're looking for and not to bug you on your day off. Eventually, you're going to have to deal with a salesperson and seeing as the receptionist has to see them all every single day, she (or he) is usually the best and most objective person to ask for assistance...unless she's dumb as a box of rocks of course.

ok, two more questions that may help me out:
1)Does the button with the picture and the word "MAP" still look the same on the M without navigation? I know on the FX, I can tell nav/non-nav apart from this, because the non-nav does not have words and pictures, just words. Instead of this map button, theirs just says "trip distance" or something. If this button still said "MAP" and there was no nav, it wouldn't make sense. pic: SOLVED

2) I noticed in my original picture, the seat temperature controls were both on the right. On other ones, they're on both sides, with more switches between. Is this just AWD vs RWD?
