Wheel Fitment?
I have searched and can't find the exact answer to this question, so I figured I would ask the pro's on here. I currently have an '05 G35 Coupe with 20" I-Forged Aero's on it. Does anyone know if they are the correct offset for my new M35?
I do know that people are putting the M35/M45 Sport wheels on Coupes, so I thought I might get lucky and they might fit on my new '08 M35.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I-forged does not release offsets, however they usually have the right offsets for the cars they are made for. That being said I would take a look at the fitment of the iforged on the G the wheels came off of. I would then figure out what the G guys are normally running in terms of wheel offsets. I know there will be a range, but at least you can guage the offsets from that.
from what I recall the G offsets are really low compared to the M. If in the teens then you will need to do some work. It will also depend if you are going to lower the M as the more you lower the lower the offset you can run.
The M sport wheels on coupes also use major spacers, like +25 to get the righ fitment. OEM M sport wheels are +50.
offset range for a decent drop will be +30 up front and +36 in the rear if you are running fat tires (245 front 275 rears) you can pull off lower offsets if you strech the tires or lower more.
I would bet the i-forged are much lower offsets then that - so plug and play? I would say probably not.
but like finallygottag said...a lot of people buy the wheel and make it fit...

I would never run a set of spacers to MAKE a set of wheels fit though.
I guess I will just sell my I-Forged Aero's and buy something else for the M35.
What was/is confusing me a bit was when I was shopping for wheels and they claim the same wheel will fit both vehicles (M35 Sedan and G35 Coupe).

As far as the wheels for a g35 coupe fitting your m35, that will not happen. The general offset for most g35 coupe fitments is +10-+25. I ran a +42 +32offset on my M35 and had constant rubbing issues even with rolling my fenders. The vehicle was also lowered for reference.

Really? I am running the following specs:
20x8.5 +36 offset 245/35/20 tires.
20x10 +38 offset 275/30/20
lowered on JIC coilovers, so not sure how much drop. No work on fenders, never any rubs. I am going to push out my fronts to +31 offset as I think the fronts are too "in"
was the +32 in the rear? I can see that. I have seen +32 all around on a M45, but it was on bags but the owner thought the offsets were too weak for bags so is getting even lower offsets.

thats what I thought. Running fat tires as well, right? 275+
if you strech the tires they may fit, not my style, but the M45 with the +32 all around has his 20x10.5 tires streatched...

hey lawman, do you know if the M can run with ET 26-29 in the rear on a 19 or 20x10/10.5? I'm trying to yield the largest lips. I'll stretch the tires, probably 245/255 depending on rim size.
