I've been looking for low milage '08 M35 for the past couple of months. Every single one seems to have a graphite interior. They did make them in willow didn't they?

 

3 interior colors have been available since 2006...wheat(beige), stone(grey), and graphite(black)..for the sport models, i have never seen them with wheat interior, only stone or graphite. I think you have to get the non-sport model to be able to get the wheat interior.

Ahh yes, how could i forget..Bourbon(dark brown leather) was also available, but only in 06-07..it was discontinued for 2008 model year

 

After posting, I did find some with the wheat interior and can deduce a reason. Searching for 2008s with less than 30k miles for less than $30k, I am mostly looking at vehicles coming off fleet or high-milage lease - they seem to choose lower optioned vehicles with darker color interior. Extending the search to $36k finds many more vehicles with light colored interior. Also extending into 2007s finds many with wheat interiors.

For my wife, the contrast of rosewood & wheat is her main interest. Since the graphite and bourbon have the darker color materials they lack the appeal...
